Making a noise about our 40th anniversary

Wakefield Acoustics is celebrating 40 years of delivering innovative noise control solutions for the improvement of living and working environments.

Formed in 1980, we have been building noise control solutions for a range of industrial manufacturers across the UK. Over the years, the company has continued to expand, gaining numerous blue-chip clients while supplying products worldwide within the petrochemical, water, power and oil and gas industries, to name a few.

Today, the company operates from a modern 40,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, and has diversified its product range to serve additional industries including construction and standby power generation. With a full-time growing workforce of 55, we have come a long way since our humble beginnings.

In order to continue offering quality solutions and remain at the forefront of the industry, we have continued to invest in our people and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, with the latest acquisition being a new laser cutting machine.
